The Nassau teen whose June disappearance set off an intensive search effort has been reunited with his family.
Police and family members say Louis Germosen is back home in Westbury.
The 19-year-old went missing on June 28.
Two weeks ago, police searched Hempstead Lake State Park after the family received text messages telling them to search the park and the pond. The messages closed with “god bless.”
News 12 spoke with his older brother who said Louis was in New York City making music and didn't let the family know he left.
"I was a little angry because of everything we've been through, trying to find him. But at the same time I feel just relieved, you know, that he's not dead," said Brandon Valle.
News 12 reached out to the teen's father and step-mother who he's staying with. They declined to comment.
