Ardsley game-winning shot up for Best Play at the ESPY Awards
Some call it "The Heave." Some call it the "The McGarvey Miracle."
No matter what you call it, the three-quarter court shot at the buzzer that won Ardsley High School boys basketball team its first section one title in 60 years, was one for the ages.
Now the amazing shot has been nominated for Best Play at the ESPY Awards.
Julian McGarvey made the buzzer beating shot back in March. With the nomination, McGarvey is up against guys like LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, Julian won't be able to attend the ESPYs,  he will be training at Marist College not for basketball but to be a quarterback.
