The 100 Black Men of Stamford organization held their 18th annual Golf Classic at the Rockrimmon Country Club Monday.

The group provides mentoring and educational programs for young people in the greater Stamford area.

The organization teamed up with Norwalk-based Diageo to raise money for college scholarships.

Josiah Lindsay, President of 100 Black Men of Stamford said "We want to make sure that students in Fairfield County have a chance to achieve their goals and we believe that education is one of the things that allows them to do that."
