'Fatal Attraction' murderer up for parole hearing

BEDFORD HILLS -

"Fatal Attraction" murderer Carolyn Warmus will be going before the State Parole Board this week, according to a parole board spokesman.

Warmus, 54, is serving 25 years to life for the 1989 shooting of her former lover's wife in Greenburgh.

She has denied killing 40-year-old Betty Jean Solomon.

Warmus was rejected for parole last year after she was cited for poor compliance with prison rules.

A decision on whether she will be granted parole will come about two weeks after her hearing.
