SPRING VALLEY -

Family and friends said goodbye today to the Rockland County man who found dead at the home of a New York Giants player.

Funeral services were held for 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene at the Sinai French 7th Day Adventist Church in Spring Valley.

The Spring Valley native was found at the New Jersey home of New York Giants player Janoris Jenkins on June 26. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office says Rene's death was the result of a physical altercation with William Jenkins, the cornerback's brother. William Jenkins has been charged in the death, is in police custody, and is awaiting his day in court.

Roosevelt, also known as Trypps Beatz was a music producer and hip-hop artist who collaborated with Jenoris on projects and was a Jenkins family friend.

The NFL player said on Instagram that Trypps was a good friend and that his passing truly hurt his heart.
