A public pool in northern Westchester reopened Sunday, less than 24 hours after it was forced to close when a swimmer suffered a medical emergency.
Lifeguards pulled a young swimmer out of the Veterans Memorial pool in Peekskill Saturday.
The swimmer was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital. Pool officials say the swimmer is said to be doing fine.
