Members of New York Sports Club in Mamaroneck say they are frustrated after nearly six weeks with mostly no air conditioning inside the gym.

They told News 12 that the conditions have been unbearable with temperatures around 80 degrees. Temperatures over the weekend are expected to skyrocket to nearly 100 degrees.

"It's tough because your body sweats naturally from working out," said one member.

News 12 did see some New York Sports Club members actually go and work out today because they say there is a small portion of the gym that does have air conditioning.

When News 12 asked why the air conditioning hadn’t been fixed, gym staff said no manager was around and whoever was acting as manager had no comment.

News 12 also reached out to New York Sports Club's corporate office, but they told us no one was there to answer questions about the Mamaroneck air conditioning issue.
