Pedestrian seriously injured after hit-and-run in Pearl River

PEARL RIVER -

Orangetown police are investigating a hit-and-run after a pedestrian was struck in Pearl River.

It happened Friday at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and South John Street.

Police say the driver was last seen in a silver Hyundai heading west on Franklin Avenue.

The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with serious injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Orangetown police at (845) 359-3700.
