Orange County opens Crime Analysis Center

GOSHEN -

Police officers have some new tools to keep Orange County safe.

On Wednesday, law enforcement officials unveiled their new "Crime Analysis Center," located in the Emergency Services building in Goshen.

The center pools public camera feeds and other computer-aided technology from police agencies in three counties.

Officials say the information sharing will help law enforcement solve and prevent crime. "This is what the future is. And we have to embrace it, go forward with it and the police departments ... everyone has to share," says Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
