Group accused of robberies, beatings in Brooklyn

A group of men are accused of multiple robberies and beatings in Brooklyn, police say.
The latest incident happened on June 2 in front of 3449 Fulton St. around 12 a.m.
Police say a 31-year-old man was robbed by a man who initially asked if he had a lighter.
The suspect got away with $20 and the victim was not injured.
However, police say the suspect is part of a crew of at least five other men accused of robbing and sometimes beating people on the street between March and June in the Fulton Street area.
Officials say the men often take cash and cellphones from their victims.
Police have released surveillance video and images of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
