Wallkill man busted with 181 bags of heroin

WALLKILL -

An Orange County man is facing a long list of charges after police busted him with drugs and a weapon.

Police say they pulled over Jacob Gill, 27, of Wallkill, in the parking lot of a Stewart's Shop on Tower Drive in Wallkill. They say Gill took off running, but was quickly arrested. Gill allegedly assaulted three officers while being taken into custody.

Police report that Gill  had 181 bags of heroin, 19 grams of cocaine and a knife in his possession.

Gill is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and assault, and was sent to Orange County Jail on $45,000 bail.
