Rockland teacher in need of new kidney

A Rockland teacher is asking the public for help in finding a kidney donor after two years on the state registry without a match.

Jacqueline Triguero, 45, who's on medical leave from Montebello Elementary School, is suffering from kidney disease and needs a new kidney to survive.

Triguero is currently on daily, eight-hour home dialysis treatments.

She blogs about her health struggles in hope that people will help. "It's hard to go up to someone and say, ‘Hey - I need a kidney.’ So what you can do to help is share the website. Because with each share the website gets, my chances increase exponentially for finding a match."
