Bronxville holds annual Memorial Day parade

Residents flocked to Bronxville on Memorial Day to honor fallen heroes and watch the annual parade.
Droves of people watched as flashy cars, local organizations and some well-tuned marching bands made their way from the Bronxville train station to Bronxville school.
Before the parade filled the streets, there was a ceremonial laying of wreaths at the foot of monuments dedicated to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend and protect the United States.
Retired Army Col. Mary Westmoreland led the parade as the first female veteran grand marshal.
