Police are searching for the two men who posed as UPS workers and forced their way into a Bedford Park apartment.
The incident happened on May 20, inside of a residential building near Marion Avenue and E. 201st Street.
Police say once the two men forced their way into the apartment they held a knife to a 20-year-old woman's throat and then tied her up along with her family members.
According to police, the men continued the attack inside a bedroom where they stabbed a 27-year-old man in his leg before stealing jewelry and $16,000 in cash.
Neighbors say they are worried for their own safety and hope the suspects are caught before they strike again. Residents say they will be sure to keep their doors locked and be careful of who is on the other side.

The man who was stabbed was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
