There was stepped up security in New York City Sunday after another deadly attack in France.
The NYPD says there are no known threats to New York City, but they are ramping up patrols.
Westchester and Hudson Valley police have not yet said how they're responding to the incident.
Officials in Chechnya say the attacker was 20-year-old Khazmat Azimov, a Russian-born man who had received French citizenship and held a Russian passport until he was 14.
He is accused of killing a 29-year-old man, and wounding four other people near the Opera Garnier.
The attacker was shot and killed by police.
The Islamic State group claimed the attacker was one of its soldiers.
