Nice weather finally arrives in the Hudson Valley

VALHALLA -

Temperatures climbed into the 90s Thursday, and Hudson Valley residents poured outdoors to take advantage.

At the Kensico Dam, dozens of people went picnicking, jogging or tanning.

"It's long overdue," said Bruce Johnson, who went to the playground with his grandson, Dylan.

Friday temperatures are expected to hover in the mid-80s, with clouds coming in and late-day showers, forecasters say.

Temperatures in the 70s are in store of the weekend, with more clouds and scattered showers.
