YONKERS -

Authorities announced the takedown of a gang and its reputed gang members in Yonkers Wednesday.

For one year, residents in the Nodine Hill section of Yonkers say they were terrorized by a gang called Blood Stone.

Authorities say that nine people were arrested in an early morning sweep Tuesday.  Among the people arrested was James Bryant, the alleged ringleader.

Three others, including a man named Rahkim Shealy, remain at large.

The four-month investigation was a result of a collaboration of multiple agencies.

Authorities say group members were known for their intimidation tactics, taking out rivals and recruiting. They are facing attempted murder, assault and various weapons charges.
