RYE BROOK -

Some Westchester students who have cerebral palsy attended their prom Friday.

The Bridge School students celebrated the event at Cerebral Palsy of Westchester facility in Rye Brook.

The dance is most special for Scott Hooks and three of his classmates who are graduating in June.

“It feels amazing, I couldn't ask for anything more,” he said.

While the students partied on the dance floor, parents and teachers also celebrating their students’ accomplishments.

“He was told he wouldn't make it, and he's here,” said Elisa Hooks, Scott’s mother. “I'm very proud of him.”
