Police: Somers HS teacher exposed himself at public library

A Somers teacher was arrested and removed from his classroom after allegedly exposing himself in a public place.
Police say Jeffrey Wrightman, 60, of White Plains, exposed himself in front of patrons at the Ossining Public Library Thursday night.
Assistant Library Director Molly Robbins told News 12 that the incident did not happen near children.
Wrightman is a social studies teacher at Somers High School and has been employed there since 2003. The district alerted parents via Facebook, saying he's been placed on administrative leave.
The teacher was arraigned on charges of public lewdness. He was released on $1,000 bail.
Police say Wrightman admitted to “knowing what he was doing” and made a statement to that effect.
Police believe while this is was an isolated incident at the library, it's possible Wrightman may have other victims. Authorities are urging anyone who believes that they might have been a victim to contact them.
