Community members came together Sunday to demand justice for a man who was killed in Lindenhurst.
Veronica Matus organized a vigil at Eisenhower Park for her cousin Herminio Torres, also known as Goldo.
Goldo died three weeks ago after he was shot during a fight in Lindenhurst.
Family members say the 28-year-old had been visiting from New Jersey at the time of his death.
Family members at the vigil say they wanted to raise awareness about gun violence and encourage anyone with information to come forward. So far, police do not have any suspects.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
