Passaic County officials say that arsenic has been found in a popular park in Clifton.
The officials say that there is no health risk to the public, but they have closed down a portion of Weasel Brook Park as a precaution. Temporary fences were put up around most of the grassy areas Friday. The basketball courts, the playground and pavilion will remain open.
County officials have not yet said what the plan will be to remove the arsenic. It was not immediately known when the park would reopen.
