More than 100 guns collected in White Plains buyback event

WHITE PLAINS -

More than 100 guns were turned in Friday at a buyback event in White Plains.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman organized the event, which rendered rifles, shotguns, handguns and assault rifles.

All payments were made with prepaid debit cards.

Some of the payments included $25 for non-working and antique firearms, $75 for rifles and shotguns, $100 for handguns, and $150 for all assault weapons.
