Christians across the Hudson Valley are celebrating the Easter holiday to mark the resurrection of Jesus.

News 12 Westchester’s Laura Haefeli attended Easter Mass at Christ the King Church in Yonkers Sunday where families gathered to share in the celebration.

"Easter means something special where you get to put everything aside and spend some time with the family and truly remember what Sunday is [about,]” said alter server Andrew Borromeo. “That's what Easter means to me."

Easter services will be held at Christ the King Church throughout the day.
