A shooting at a restaurant in Essex County claimed the life of a Livingston man, according to officials.
The prosecutor's office says it happened on Springfield Avenue around 8:30 p.m. in Maplewood.
Prosecutors have identified the victim as 30-year-old Altariq Brown.
They say Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
Prosecutors say no one has been arrested at this time. The investigation is continuing.
