Pace University students prepare for gun control march

PLEASANTVILLE -

Students at Pace University have been preparing for this weekend's March For Our Lives event in New York City.

Students on Friday made posters at their Pleasantville campus. They plan to take the posters with them to the march in New York City.

The group's organizer says something had to be done in the wake of the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

An event was held Friday night at the school's Kessel Student Center before Saturday's march.

The school is footing the bill for train tickets for all students who choose to participate.
