Newburgh city manager: Stay off streets

NEWBURGH -

Newburgh City Manager Michael Ciaravino advised residents to stay off the streets during the snowstorm.

He said this may be the most severe storm so far this season.

Ciaravino advised residents to stay indoors if possible.  He said it’s important to allow plow trucks to clear the streets.

Wet and heavy snow accumulations could result in loss of power, but Ciaravino said there are standby plans for emergency housing if there are outages.
