Residents across Westchester say they feel powerless without power after Friday's nor'easter.

Days after the nor’easter, nearly 315 residents in Hastings are still without power. Resident Paul Harris said he is happy he has a generator.

“On Friday morning, we heard the tree come down. The power was still on, but then cable went out 10:30 a.m. Then 12 a.m. Saturday was when power went out for good,” he said.

Residents in Yonkers without power said they were looking for some relief. Part of Mitchell Avenue was blocked off as downed trees, wires and utility poles continued to wreak havoc.

“It's horrible, a nightmare. I know there's more people worse off than we are - we have a generator, gas, hot water - but it's insane and not normal living,” said resident Lanie Vaughan.

Vaughan was among the nearly 1,500 Con Edison customers in Yonkers who were still without power Tuesday morning.

Vaughan was fearing the worst ahead of Wednesday’s storm.

“I am literally expecting we'll be out until next Friday,” she said.
