2 arrested in supermarket parking lot shooting

Two men are now facing charges after a shooting near a supermarket in Dutchess County.

State police arrested Sean Peterson, 28, of Beacon, and Devin Byers, 30, of Ohio, after a shooting in an Acme parking lot on Route 82.  

One person suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to the hospital.

A Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office deputy apprehended the two a short time later and found a large quantity of marijuana and a Springfield .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun in their 2007 Honda CRV.

The two have been arraigned and are in the Dutchess County Jail on $75,000 bail.
