Man arrested for alleged bank robbery in Newburgh

NEWBURGH -

Police arrested a man who they say robbed a bank in Orange County.

Officials say 42-year-old Robert Stevens, of Newburgh, robbed the Citizens' Bank on Broadway on Feb. 9.

Stevens allegedly walked into the bank and demanded money, and then walked out with more than $3,000 in cash.

Officials say earlier that day, Stevens was released from the Orange County Jail.

He is being charged with grand larceny.
