Irvington voice coach under investigation for sexual abuse

IRVINGTON -

A prominent Irvington voice coach and author is under investigation by the NYPD for sexual abuse.

Peter Rofe runs PDR voice-over coaching in Irvington and Manhattan. An explosive investigation by CNN found at least 16 of his former female clients have accused him of various forms of sexual misconduct while they were receiving voice lessons.

According to CNN, Rofe's former clients found each other online in the wake of the #MeToo movement and formed a private Facebook group to share what they call their harrowing stories of abuse.

Neighbors and those working in the building where Rofe's business is located say they are stunned by the allegations.
