Newburgh man arrested in bar shooting

A Newburgh man is behind bars in connection with a local bar shooting.

Police say Tyshuon Patterson, 33, is facing multiple charges after a handgun was found in his home. They say that handgun consisted with evidence recovered during a shooting at the Untouchables Bar on Jan. 7.

One victim suffered a gunshot wound to the lower leg and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. Police say the victim was not cooperative with them.

Patterson is charged with second-degree assault and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
