A proposed congestion pricing plan could make the drive into Manhattan more costly. 

FixNYC released a proposal that was part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's budget that would force drivers to pay $11.52 to go south of 60th Street in Manhattan on weekdays between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Trucks would have to pay $25.34. 

The plan would raise an estimated billion dollars for mass transit, but some businesses on the Island say they'll be impacted by the new fee.

Dix Hills-based Angel Plants makes deliveries every day to Manhattan to florists and other retailers.

"It's going to increase the cost of delivering into Manhattan, which is high already, and it's just going to get passed down the line," says Eddie Rottkamp, of Angel Plants. "It's going to go to the consumer eventually."

London and Singapore have similar charges in place.
