A department store in Yorktown Heights sold more than a wallet when one of its customers discovered something special inside of it.

Purvi Shah says she bought a wallet at TJMAXX and when she was going through it, she found a medal with engravings on it.

“The medal has in inscription on the back. It says ‘To Eddie, love Nancy,’” she says.

Shah says the St. Christopher medal is from 1965.

St. Christopher medals are commonly worn as pendants, especially by travelers as a request for the saint’s blessing.

Shah says she just wants to give the medal back because it probably has value to someone.

She has put out notes on social media in an attempt to find the owners of the medal.
