Rain, snow melt could lead to icy roads, flooding

It has been a week of weather extremes across western Connecticut.
The Aspetuck River that divides Easton and Weston attracted attention Saturday as rain and melted snow produced racing rapids.
Officials don't believe homes are in danger, but a section of the Apetutuck Country Club was swamped and some roads had flooded.
Firefighters are warning residents to look out for icy roads and walkways this weekend as temperatures are expected to drop.
