Hudson Valley residents celebrated Christmas Mass on Monday. 

For some worshipers at Saint John the Baptist Church, Christmas Mass is more meaningful this year.

"I think we need religion more than ever," says Michel Crowley, "Because the way the world is at the moment. Christmas represents hope for peace at Christmas."

Some congregants at the church say the snowy weather helped add more atmosphere to the holiday.
