Some snow blanketed parts of the Hudson Valley and brought with it a white Christmas.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m.
A high wind advisory is also in effect as some areas can see gusts up to 40 or 50 mph.
Sunshine with temperatures in the high 30s should set in once the storm leaves the area.
