Police say nine people were busted in a Freehold cocaine distribution ring.

According to the Monmouth County prosecutor's office, authorities launched a nine month-long investigation called Operation Snowball to catch the nine suspects.

Prosecutors say the leader of the ring supplied drugs to lower level dealers in the downtown Freehold area.

Investigators seized more than 700 grams of cocaine and about $14,000.

The suspects are now facing a number of charges.
