GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities are seeking the suspect who tried to set fire to the Galloway Township Police Headquarters.
Police say the suspect attempted to light a glass bottle containing what's believed to be a petroleum-based accelerant. The bottle shattered over the lobby doors and floor, but did not ignite.
There were several officers and citizens in the lobby, but no one was injured. Investigators released surveillance video of the incident in the hope that someone recognizes the suspect.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Galloway Township police Lt. Joseph Picardi at 609-652-3705, extension 327.
