Developer: Dwindling enrollment at Tuxedo school hurting housing projectPosted: Updated:
Concerns about an Orange County high school's dwindling enrollment is now being blamed for a stalled housing project there.
Developers for the "Tuxedo Farms," on 17M in Tuxedo, say they've been unable to sell any new homes because of buyer concerns with George F. Baker High School.
The school has struggled with plummeting enrollment since 2015, when nearby Greenwood Lake started sending its students to other districts.
Calls from News 12 to Tuxedo town officials have not been returned.
