A Rockland family is celebrating the birth of their "miracle baby" by bringing back an iconic Christmas display.
The Sikora family has put out their homemade Christmas decorations in Valley Cottage since the 1980s.
They stopped doing it once their kids got older, but now it's back. More than 90 cartoon characters are out in front of their home on Tamar Drive.
This year's theme is "The Circle of Life" from the Lion King. They say it’s all because of the birth of their first grandchild that they are calling a "miracle baby."
"We did eight egg retrievals, eight transfers, 14 embryos lost, four miscarriages, IDD transfusions -- you name it, we did it. We decided after everything that we would have a baby through a surrogate," says daughter Nicole Mooney.
Baby Christopher is now 11 weeks old.
The family plans to continue putting up their Christmas display for years to come.
The family is inviting anyone in the Hudson Valley to check out their Christmas display. They say it will be turned on every night from 5-10 p.m.
