EDGEMONT -

An assistant wrestling coach at Edgemont High School is being accused of sexual contact with a minor.

Police say Tyler Sick, 29, of Tarrytown, has been charged with third-degree rape. It's unclear whether the victim was a student. Edgemont School Superintendent Dr. Victoria Kniewel tells News 12, “Anytime a child is harmed by someone entrusted with their care…it is especially appalling. This situation is no different.”

Police have not released any further information on the accusation, but they are asking any other students who feel they’ve had inappropriate contact with Sick to call the Greenburgh Police SVU at (914) 989-1736.
A judge set his bail at $20,000.

In addition to his role at Edgemont High School, Sick has also been working at the East Bronx Academy in New York City since last year.
