Students at Sacred Heart in Yonkers are spending the day before Thanksgiving helping others in a very energetic way.
The high school held a pep rally today to kick off their winter sports season and celebrate by giving Thanksgiving meals to over 300 families.
Raising money to buy food baskets and the pep rally is a tradition at the school. "A big part about Sacred Heart is using your talents for help others," says Giselle Jayne Vidal.
"The heart of Sacred Heart is giving back to other people and being part of the community,” adds Tiffany Lacroix.
