The 13th annual Radiothon was held Thursday to help raise money for children at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla.
Organizers say the event is held every year to raise money to save the children's lives. WHUD radio DJ Tom Furci says he comes back and spends hours on-air each year to give back.
"Personally as a parent, you realize how important it is to have a hospital like this," he says.
Organizers say they raised over $350,000 last year for Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. They hoped to surpass that goal this year.
