A Chicago man is charged with manslaughter for killing a woman in his brother's Newburgh home, according to Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.

Cook has pleaded not guilty. He's being held at Orange County Jail without bail.

Prosecutors say Cook has convictions for battery and armed robbery going back to 1980.
