Is Trump the top Halloween costume again?

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Dressing up for Halloween can get political.

Last year, stores were flooded with Donald Trump masks and Hillary Clinton power suits.

Normally, when there isn't a campaign going on, political costumes aren't as popular.

But this year could be different. According to the National Retail Federation, 1.5 million American adults will be inspired by the headlines. That's 200,000 fewer people who got political last Halloween.

However, the politically charged costume is still in the top 10.

Google has its own list, compiled from search data, which says Wonder Woman reigns supreme as the most searched Halloween costume this year.

So expect to see more lassoes of truth and less political masks at Halloween events this year.
