BRIARCLIFF MANOR -

Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino pick up some major endorsements in Briarcliff Manor today as he seeks a third term in office.

More than 20 union affiliates of the building and construction trades council of Westchester and Putnam endorsed the Republican.

"He understands the working man and woman. He helps us and guides these projects. We get decent wages, decent benefits. He’s very good to union people," says Union President Edward Doyle.

Astorino will face off against Democrat George Latimer in the general election in November.
