A Bronx driver lost control of a black Chevrolet Trailblazer on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Dobbs Ferry Thursday night, crashed into a tree, bounced back into the road and escaped without injury, police say.
The vehicle sped along an embankment, hit the tree, then rolled back until it came to rest on its roof blocking a southbound lane on the parkway. But by the time police arrived, the male driver had already exited the vehicle and was being checked by EMS.
The driver, who declined to speak on camera, told News 12 that another driver cut him off, and he lost control of the truck. He said he held onto the steering wheel for dear life.
It was not immediately clear whether police would file charges in connection with the crash.
