Hillary takes shots at Trump and Putin

NEW YORK -

Hillary Clinton took shots at both President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin as the featured guest on ‘The Late Show’ with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night.

The former presidential candidate gave a negative review of Trump's speech to the U.N. general Assembly on Tuesday. "I thought it was very dark, dangerous, not the kind of message that the leader of the greatest nation in the world should be delivering." Clinton said the president should always try to lead with diplomacy and not antagonize someone like North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un.

Clinton also said that Putin interfered in the presidential election in part because of her work as secretary of state, which brought the two into conflict on various occasions. That, she said, evolved into a grudge on his part.

She said the fact that she's a woman "does seem to get him agitated." And she mocked Putin for "manspreading" at one meeting, which is an aggressive posture where a man sits with legs splayed.

And she said Putin is "tied up with his anger and disappointment" with the Soviet Union's collapse.
