GM unveils self-driving cars

The future is near as self-driving cars could hit the streets of the Hudson Valley very soon. 

General Motors and Cruise Automation unveiled a self-driving car on Monday that is ready for large-scale production.

The car has all the computing power needed to operate without a driver.

Other companies are working on self-driving capabilities, but the new Cruise and GM cars will be on the streets first.

They have currently partnered with Lyft and Uber to offer rides to San Francisco passengers.
