School for students with disabilities opens in Cornwall

CORNWALL -

A new school for students with disabilities opened its doors for the first time Wednesday in Orange County.

The Abilities First school on Hudson Street in Cornwall teaches students in all grades with intellectual disabilities and special needs.

The state-funded school currently has 22 students enrolled from a dozen area districts.

Staff at the school say they are excited to be a part of the community.
